Scheduling

Appointment Policy

As a Primary Care Pediatric Practice, we specialize in care and treatment of the most common illnesses and diseases of children. If you have a medical emergency or you feel your child’s life is being threatened due to their medical condition, please call 911 immediately!

To schedule an appointment (same-day sick, future well-child visit, adolescent or sports physical, ADD/ADHD Consults), please call (219) 940-9605 to speak with someone. If you are asked to leave a message, please do so and someone will return your call promptly. Our staff will triage your situation, and may discuss the case with the physician. Please respect the fact that the physician cannot speak to every caller and may communicate through the staff member.

Appointment blocks are only for one patient only. Multiple same day visits within the same family may be spread over a larger time period and not be in consecutive block. Specific medical problems may be seen only at specific times during the day in order to facilitate smooth patient flow.

Walk-ins are not allowed. We strongly discourage walk-in visits as this is unfair to our patients who have previously scheduled appointments. We will offer same day service if appointments are available, so we advise to call early.

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals will be seen after those who do show up on time and may be rescheduled if more than 15 minutes late.

If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel within 24 hours to allow room to schedule children that need urgent appointments. If your appointment is not cancelled within 24 hours, you may incur a charge. Repeated violations may result in administrative actions including, but not limited to, restrictions to scheduling and possible termination from the practice.

Similarly should we need to cancel your appointment within 24 hours, administrative recompense will be considered.

If you have any forms to be filled out please bring them with you as filled out as much as you can.
